ICCE is included in the scheme for non-funded international schools, known as the B4 scheme. De Ceder is recognized by the Ministry as a school for compulsory education purposes. Parents who send their child to De Ceder therefore meet the legal requirements of the Compulsory Education Act.
ICS De Ceder is a private, non-funded, primary and secondary school.
Students work toward a diploma through the International Certificate of Christian Education. There are diplomas for different levels, comparable to Vmbo to Vwo levels.

The UK National Academic Recognition Information Centre (UK NARIC) conducted a benchmark in 2007 and 2012. ICCE was compared to Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). ICCE General and CIE were rated combarable as O-Level. ICCE Advanced and CIE were also rated and comparable with A-Level. With three relevant courses from CIE at A-Level, one can be admitted to Dutch universities.
ICCE is independently accredited by Accreditation International (Ai).
ICCE is an accredited member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
ICCE is independently accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).
De Ceder falls under the inspection of ICCE.
De Ceder falls under the supervision of the Dutch inspection for the subject Dutch (Language).
